“GRVLbound offers gravel adventures in a safe, challenging and rewarding environment. Gravel camp included great meals, company, and flexibility to meet rider’s needs. Heather’s expertise and familiarity with the area allowed on the fly decisions that were to the benefit of all. Accommodations were comfortable and in a beautiful setting. Great attitudes abounded and skill levels increased. GrvlBound does not leave one wanting. Thanks to Heather for sharing and making available her love of gravel. As Heather said during the camp, “it’s about the experience”! YES IT IS!!.”

“I participated in my first Gravel camp with GRVLbound’s Heather and Cara in NH this past weekend.  It was my first.  They were super supportive.  The bike rides were on beautiful gravel roads in Madison and Tamworth.  Each day, riders were given the option to pick a “mild/shorter” ride or a “spicey/longer” ride.   The rides were strategically planned with wonderful scenery and meeting spots where the two groups could reenergize and drink and socialize.  Each ride had one guide to lead the way and offer words of encouragement.  I was challenged by some of the hills, but never made to feel like I didn’t fit in.  Cara and Heather (and all of the other women participating) constantly gave out words of encouragement and praise.  The lodging was perfect, the company was great, the food was wonderful, the evening games were fun, and the experience was rewarding.  I would definitely do it again!”

“Amazing trip with inspiring women! The house and yard were perfect for our large group and created spaces for both visiting and privacy. We had perfect weather and the Tamworth region had endless miles of champaign gravel, beautiful wide trails, and mountain views. The routes were challenging, but choices throughout the day allowed you to adapt depending on how you’re feeling. Heather, Cara and Lauren were amazing leaders who leveled up the whole group while being patient and kindly accommodating different skill levels. Our evenings together were full of good food, good stories and laughter. Cannot wait until the next one!”

“I absolutely loved gravel camp with GRVLbound! The accommodations at King Pine Ski Area comfortably housed all 12 of us, 9 campers and guides Heather, Cara, and Lauren. Every morning, after an abundant breakfast, we hopped in our cars for a short drive to the lovely town of Tamworth. From here we rode our bikes on the endlessly beautiful gravel roads that crisscross the area. We split up in 2 or 3 groups, depending on one's appetite for mileage and elevation gain. This worked out perfectly! The home-cooked dinner was nutritious and delicious and the après-dinner games we played were super fun. Heather, Cara, and Lauren were wonderful, thought of every detail in putting the camp together (from swag bag to après-ride splash), and generously shared their insights into riding gravel. I can't wait to sign up for another GRVLbound camp!”

“After a couple of years not doing any bicycling I wanted to get back into it. I heard about Gravelbound's Gravel Camp 24, and even though I was reluctant to sign up, I did. The camp gave me just what I needed to know where I needed to focus on to become a better rider. The camp had three guides whom were extremely helpful and patient. The guides and several other experienced riders didn't make you feel "out of place", and gave some helpful suggestions and tips for better performance and to enhance my endurance. The camp was engaging from when I woke up until I went to bed. It was very well organized and structured. I will certainly sign up for another camp or group ride with the GravelGirlz!"

“I had the best weekend with GrvlBound! This was exactly what I needed to push myself, learn new skills and gain confidence with more experienced riders. We were never rushed while out on our rides or made to feel like we didn’t belong. No one was dropped or left alone. Heather, Cara and Lauren were incredibly patient and fun to be around. I’ve been to camps before where the leaders made it about themselves and used the opportunity to further their training versus focusing on the group. I went in not knowing what to expect and I left a more confident rider. Accommodations and meals were fantastic and made it a great experience. Not only was it a great weekend but it was also very affordable. Now I know more women in my area to connect and ride with! ”
